About Us

Learn who we are, what we stand for, and how our expertise drives long-term value for our investors.

Abundia Opportunities Fund Limited was founded by Yusuke McKenzie, a seasoned investment professional with a background in quantitative research and private equity. The Fund is managed by a dedicated team with over 30 years of combined experience across hedge funds, private equity, and global asset management.

Yusuke began his private investment journey in 2021 by establishing Abundia LLC, a 100% wholly owned investment platform in Japan, while concurrently serving as an investment manager at a global private equity firm. During this period, he began applying world-class investment methodologies acquired from his tenure at leading financial institutions to build proprietary investment strategies.

In 2022, Yusuke transitioned full-time to focus on his investment philosophy. To institutionalize and expand the platform, Abundia Opportunities Fund Limited was launched as an Incubator Fund registered with the Financial Services Commission of the British Virgin Islands, licensed under Certificate of Status number SIBR/IFAF/25/0747. The fund currently operates as a family office vehicle, managing 100% proprietary capital of the founders/family.

UPDATE 2026

We officially launched Abundia Opportunities Fund Limited as an institutionally structured investment platform in May 2026, operating with a dual-jurisdictional structure alongside Hong Kong-licensed investment manager Wells Global Asset Management Limited (WGAM). We continue to expand our multi-strategy investment platform as we prepare to support external capital and a broader investor base.
